After 15 years of outstanding customer service and
support Meridian ceased operations in late September
2009.

Economos reported:
"Our sales were down only slightly
in this economy, our profit a bit more. However, extreme
credit tightening by several long-term-relationship
creditors lead to demands for immediate payment of large
balances which in turn lead to an impossible cash-flow
situation. I had no choice but to cease operations."
"After 15 years, the closing of
Meridian was significant for me, I decided that it was
time for me to entertain other alternatives."
"My thoughts turned to Meridian's
many long-term, amazing and loyal customers and to the
Meridian employees who are great people and by their
nature really care about their customers. It was a
"natural" that the employees would carry on in
Meridian's place and care for the Meridian customers
whom I and they value so highly."
"IPS is operating with the same
phone numbers as Meridian. They have rights to the sites
and addresses of "Meridiancyber" and "Crucialservice"
and will keep the sites active as the transition is made
to www.ipsdepot.com. The meridiancyber and
crucialservice addresses will however point to IPS
content and will generate IPS order processing."
